How do you know when temper tantrums are a serious problem with a 2 year old?

  • when they do them all the time you just have to put a stop to it quick

  • If they have just started ignore them. That's how my son stopped his. I wouldn't worry unless they continue for weeks and get longer

  • my daughter gets punished. there's only so much you can do really to punish a 2 year old whether it's taking a toy or whatever she's flippin out about. talking to them and forcing them to listen till they stop may help a little. you dont have to scream just use a stern voice. she's recently started flippin out crying when she wants to watch her favorite cartoon (before even tellin me she wants to lol. drives me nuts)
