? about kids & tooth paste

I have a 6 and 4 year old and I have gotten lots of different kids tooth paste and they will not use any tooth paste but little einstine (yes I know I did not spell it right) they say they are too minty. So any suggestion on a different tooth paste?

  • Toms of Maine makes a Peach one. I hate HATE mint, and won't use mint toothpaste, so I understand where he's coming from. However, I prefer BakingSoda, which most kids won't do.

  • As long as they are brushing, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

  • We use Tom's of Maine strawberry tooth paste. My kids also don't like minty things and they like this kind. They have it flouride and flouride-free if that's anything help. Good luck!

  • My boys love the oral B kind- big tube- cheaper, and it's a bubblegum flavor I think, but it has Disney Cars lightning McQueen on it, so it's a hit. ;)

  • IF you're looking to move on to an older kid paste, maybe look for a cinnamon (they're hard to find). I dislike mint, too.

  • Stay with the one they like, they'll use it more. It's a small price to pay, and better than paying at the dentist.
