What is your child's nickname?

Any why? How long have you called them that?

My youngest is "Monkey" -- because she climbs on EVERYTHING!
My oldest is "Boo" -- because peek-a-boo was her favorite game as a baby!

  • Mason was Bamm-Bamm for years because he was wild and hit things all the time.
Jasiah is Wuzzy, has been since before he was born because of fuzzy wuzzy bear.
And Jordan does not have a regular nickname, however I call him Weepy because he's always been a sensitive, kinda cranky baby.

  • I call DD Bug and Daddy calls her BooBoo. I thought she looked like a little junebug on her first ultrasound... she was spinning in circles all over the place. I don't know why DH calls her BooBoo though, lol.

  • My son is Monkey cause as a baby he looked identical to Curious George, his ears were too big for his head lol... I started calling him my monkey, and as he got older and grew into his ears he started climbing on everything so it stuck. Now he's 5 and I just can't imagine calling him anything else, I don't even use his name unless he's in trouble, or I need his attention quickly, otherwise its Monkey or Monkey boy. But only Mommy can call him that, he gets offended if anyone else does.

  • Before our son was born, DH called him Scooter because at our first ultrasound appointment, he was scooting all over in me. Now he calls him Sparky and I call him Robman. Cute nicknames do not sit well with an almost teenager!

  • Lol! My DS's nickname is Monkey too, and Mono is Spanish (same thing). He climbs on everything and has always acted like a monkey in general.
