What do YOU say when you KNOW there is nothing you can say that will help?

I just don't say anything at all. I also don't ask if there's anything I can do. If I understand a situation because I've been in it, then I just go and do what I know would have been helpful to me, and I don't say a word.

  • depends on what the situation is
if something you have said over and over and person doesnot take anyones advise, just wants to vent about same problem over adn over and does nothing to help themsleves, there does come a time when you stop saying anything
sometimes a person just wants to say their issue out loud, they knew there is no advice that will help, just need to vent, then i listen, nod and just be an ear to listen and shoulder to support
