  • use a humidifyer in the room or go into the bathroom with her and run the shower (don't get in the shower) hot steam will help her

  • Infant Tylenol goes a long way. A humidifier in her room might help too.

  • Tylenol is for relieving fever or pain. If your baby has neither of these symptoms, I would stay away from it. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is the NUMBER ONE cause of liver damage.

Be sure she is getting plenty of liquids, so that any mucus she produces can be thin enough for her to cough out. A humidifier is helpful too. If you can collect any of the mucus she coughs up, check to be sure it is not discolored. Also, keep an eye on her temperature, babies sometimes develop fevers very quickly. If she does have a fever, infant ibuprofen works faster than Tylenol, and is safer. GL :-)

  • Try putting vapor rub on the bottom of her feet then put socks on. Also rub it on her chest before bed. Keep her head elevated while sleep and use saline drops to thin the mucus and suction out whatever is in her nose.

  • Take him to the pedi and get it checked out. my son is the same age and he had a bad cough for almost a week. I took him to the pedi and it was the start of bronchitis. she gave him meds.
