Has everyone been through one ? Are there any secrets that some can give to manage through them besides the food, water and etc

  • How to get through them besides the basics? Read. Board games. Internet obviously if you have power. Watch TV. Warm pajamas. A nice fire if you have a fire place. Hot chocolate. And well just basically whatever comforts you and keeps your mind occupied.

  • What's to get through? It's snow. We've already had somewhere around 7 storms, including 2 blizzards, and well over 30 inches of snow this winter. We "got through" them just fine, nothing special.

  • Lots of blankets snacks water food games movies internet...if electric goes out flashlights ice chest for refridgerated foods cell phone

  • yes in 2001 the ice storm that hit Oklahoma we was without electric or water for weeks it was horrible
