  • my kids still jump in just as i am getting out. but then, i have been to know to walk through the house naked, too, usually in search of a towel! LOL!! my boys are 10, 9, 7, and 3 yo. does not bother them, they don't stare and so far, no questions!

  • No particular age. Since bathing has nothing to do with sexual undertones, why should it?

Now when it starts to make SO uncomfortable or me uncomfortable, then it's time but other than that, we are one of the few cultures who don't have family bathing.

  • I think around 4 or 5. You'll know when. You will start to feel uncomfortable.

  • I wouldn't set an age. I think that whenever someone starts to feel uncomfortable is when it should stop.

  • Well my mom girls so we never really had an age, but.......she always said when they start staring at your private areas is when you should probably think of stopping.

  • When one or the other becomes uncomfortable with it. I never felt comfortable bathing with my kids (my son or my girls). I'm just very private (and I like a super hot shower). But my husband never had a problem and showered with our girls until they were around 5. Then they just stopped. I never asked why. I assume my husband became uncomfortable with it. He still walks around the house naked and it doesn't really bother me or them. Oh, they make a big deal of it like they have to gouge their eyes out but it's pretty normal around here. They don't mind running around naked (to and from their rooms/bathroom). Nudity just isn't a big deal in our house since we never made it a big deal. It's just natural.

  • My SO never felt comfortable showering with our DD, he doesn't feel that it is appropriate. I still shower with her almost daily.
