Which one is better? want a southern name

DH and I want a good strong name for our son, and we both have ventured towards Southern sounding names..... I have my favorite but we can't seem to nail it to that one, he's holding out on me....So this is me testing other names against my fave :) Middle name will be Dean, that's non-negotiable, but which one is better?

Beau Dean
Colton Dean
Rhett Dean

  • I like Colton but I have heard the name quite a bit lately. I love the name Rhett!!! But I am not sure it goes with the middle name as well.

  • I LOVE Beau Dean - I don't feel like it's as common a first name as Colton. My cousin is naming her little girl Scarlett, so I totally get Rhett, but I feel like of those three I like Beau best.

  • I like Colton, but is super popular right now. My nephews name is going to be colton James

  • Yeah, I threw in Colton because I like it, but I'm beginning to realize that it's waaaaayyyy to popular right now to even be an option. DH and I don't do popular. My brother was Joshua, he's about one of 15 Josh's I know now, and I have a small social circle. I don't want that for our kids
