I'm 22 now. When I was 12 I broke my ankle and never stayed off of it. I didn't know it was broken at the time because I didn't have insurance. Anyway, 10 years later I have a BAD limp. I had a pin put in the ankle in 2008 to stabilize the wobbly ankle, but my hip shifts when I walk and Look like I'm marching when I take a step to compensate for the weak ankle. I can't wear heels of flats, only shoes that go over the ankle for support. Is it possible for a doctor to go in and reset the hip and ankle, if not, can anything be done? I'm miserable!
