Do you ever get cramps when you are ovulating?

It is about the time I should be ovulating and I am having cramps. Has anyone ever heard of this?

  • Yes, it is normal. I always have had cramps during ovulation, pretty comparable to when I start my period.

  • I can feel it, but I wouldn't call it "cramps." It is a sharp, very small, and localized pain. Kind of like someone was poking my ovaries with a pencil point. It lasts for a few seconds and happens every few minutes, but I can only feel it a few times.
