  • I was told by a dermatologist that the best way to wash your face is with a clean soft wash cloth and warm water. As for a lotion maybe Nivea? I get my lotions at Bath and Body Works.

  • Thanks for your answer but I was told that any product with salicylic acid is not good to use?

  • Cedaphil....that may be spelled wrong but its super sensitive and mild. It's at Walmart. It comes in lotion and face wash and body wash I think.

  • Sorry, can't help you. Grocery stores don't sell the best stuff. They sell the cheapest face products containing the cheapest ingredients that make the problems worse in the long run. You should read labels & avoid mineral oil, petrolatum, parabens, SLS, SLES, DEA. Look for those containing botanical ingredients.

  • cedaphil was recommended 2 me by my dermatologist. i would also recommend the unscented bar from dove, the original nutrigina soap, and the scent free dove facial lotion.
