  • I take Loestrin24. It is costing me 24 dollars right now although they charged me 45 this last time. I am looking for an off brand myself.

  • My body just couldn't handle birth control. I first tried the pill- Ocella- and I was sick after just the fourth day. Very sick. I then tried Nuva Ring about a year later after my son was born and ended up with a blood clot in my lung after just 3 weeks. If that had not happened, the Nuva Ring was fine. I did worry about OMG, what if it falls out?? Does DH feel it?? Things like that, but never had a problem other than the extremely dangerous situation that came from BC. I just am not able to be on any.

  • I was on Yasmin and it worked well. I do NOT recomend the Mirena, I had it for 3 years then had massive problems (until 3 years I loved it) After the problems I chose to be hormone free and just use condoms

  • What about a diaphragm? They work without hormones and have no side effects. They never caused a stroke, infertility or PID; you won't gain weight, get depressed, or lose your libido; your periods won't be affected. They have never been the subject of class action lawsuits and are instantly reversible.

  • I hated the Nuvaring (we could both feel it), but I LOVE my Mirena. I have had it a little over 2 years and no problems.
