  • No, we have too many people and too few positions to fill in the military. It would be an inequitable waste.

  • No, there is no call for that at this time. But if we are going to be for EQUAL rights - then females should have to register for selective service also.

  • NO.....I think that a mandatory draft is a hideous policy and reeks of slavery......We have no right to call ourselves a free country if our freedom is just an illusion....

  • The ONLY reason we should draft people is if our country is being directly attacked and we need as many people to help defend as possible. Since the likelihood of that happening (I mean actual war, not the 9-11 type setting) is slim it isn't needed. People should CHOOSE to join the military. Not only does passion make a better soldier, but nobody should live a mandetory X year sentence they're not happy with.

  • I think if there is a mandatory draft for both male and females then women should be treated equally EVERYWHERE ....
