A healthy way to release stress?

What is a healthy way to release stress?

I am a talker but my husband is not. I feel like I need to talk about my feelings. I try to write them out and I try to get my mind off of them. Even pray. Any other advice?

  • Exercise is one of the best ways. I miss having a gym with a punching bag- that was always a great way to work through any aggression and wear myself out! A good run will do that, too.
    I also agree that writing it out will help. Sex, for me, doesn't happen while we're fighting!

  • Exercise (like yoga or walking) and meditation (focusing on deep breaths and being present in the moment) usually work well for me. Writing stuff down sounds like a good idea or if you have a friend who doesn't mind if you vent, you could try talking things out with them.

  • I do everything i can to keep busy and my mind occupied. listen to music, play with pets, write letters then rip up in several little pieces, listen to music, clean, hobbies(drawing, sometimes acrylic painting), gAMES on laptop. Mainly reguesting support, advice on CM
