WYR: Work or not?

If you had a dh/so that made plenty of money for the family and you could choose. Personally, I wouldn't work because I would use that precious time to spend with my lo's.

  • I would work or at least keep going to school. I cannot stay home all day every day with the kiddos.

  • I am lucky enough to have a Dh that makes enough to support us. I have been a SAHM for 9 years and I love it. With that said I started my own business after being home for 4 years and it is great because I get to be with my kids and work when I want.

  • I stayed at home until the kids got in elementary. Now I choose to work. I need the brain stimulation. I also chose to work sometimes before that.

  • I love going out to work. I've been a SAHM for the last 15 months now and I really miss working. I am going back as soon as my DD is at least 2, maybe 2.5.

  • I like both, but being a SAHM, I don't get much interaction with grown people anymore. I definitely miss that.

  • I would probably cut back to 2-3 days a week, and then volunteer more at my dau's school. Maybe go back to school (maybe that would inspire my son to go back!) Oh to dream...
