  • I like it. But people also make assumptions about me because its a southern accent.

  • I live in MN.. I am guessing I probably have more of the stupid "Fargo" accent than I think, but otherwise, in MN we aren't considered having accents lol!

  • I work hard to accentuate it because I am living in the south and want to avoid slipping into the drawl.

  • i dont think i have an accent, but i'm sure if i were to leave miami i'd be told i do just because i've heard that it's happened to other people. i'm hispanic but born and raised here and no one's ever told me i have an accent.... so i like it lol

  • I've been told I have an accent but I don't really hear it. Someone descibed it as slightly Hispanic. My mom doesn't have an accent and she's Native American and my dad is Mexican and he has a thick accent so I guess that's where it's from. I guess I like it even though I don't notice.

  • Nope.  I have a soft mix of a British and Canadian accent.  It keeps people guessing lol.  I've been asked if I'm Australian, Irish and South African.

  • What accent? :-)

Answer by Simplicity3 at 12:42 PM on Feb. 2, 2011

  • I don't have an accent. Well, I do pronounce sure as "sherr" instead of "shore" ever since I moved from PA to CA lol. I know I had a little accent when I moved here though, people would always ask where I was from!

  • Accent? What are y'all talkin' about? I'm from Texas, and I only realize I have any accent when I visit somewhere else...or when I hear my voice on a recording. I'm mostly happy with my accent, though I do try to keep it from going too far, especially when I'm calling people in a different state.
