Milk?

Ok Is It ok to give my 9mnth old 4oz of 2%milk with 4oz of water when he drink an 8 oz bottle if i ever run out of formula or dont have a ride at the time till i can get to the store. MIL says it wont hurt him but i dunno PLZ help

  • It won't be giving him the calories he is getting from the formula, but it shouldn't hurt him. He would still be hungry though. Plus, 2% milk is already watered down so much, give him whole milk.

  • i would just need something to tide him over tilll i can get to the store so i can give him straight 2 % Milk?

  • 9 months is still young to be giving him dairy, i would give him whole milk if anything..but call andask the dr what to do in that sit.

  • In a case like that with a screaming infant do what you have to do. I would not dilute it.

  • My DD was on only milk when she ws 8.5months old.. I didn't dilute it.
