2 Bumps

I made a chicken wild rice soup and dh said it was too salty what can I do to bring down the salty taste

I was thinking of adding sugar to it

  • Bring it to a boil with a peeled potato in it. It'll soak in the salt.

  • Either add more rice or boil it with a peeled potato for 5-10 minutes.

  • I would add more liquid to it. It might help. The sugar might change the taste.

  • No I didn't use a fresh stock..it came from a 1 qt. box

  • check water with ingredients portions. maybe you doble the portions vs water
