  • I check the statement every month. We know exactly what charges we have made and call about anything we don't recognize. We have had as much as $600 falsely charged to us in the past.

  • I check our statements every month. I thought I was a safe Internet shopper, that I had my information very well protected.

About a year ago I used my credit card at an Internet merchant I wasn't familiar with. A week later, I had Italian clothes charged to my card ($3,000 worth). I tried to call the company, they only spoke Italian. I ended up getting my money back - but it took almost a month.

I still shop on-line, but only from retailers that I know.

  • I go online daily to make sure there are no erroneous charges (mine or scammers); I also go online daily and check out my bank accounts.

  • Never.

We don't have credit cards. I do check my bank statement online and when they mail it out though.

  • Monthly. One notifies me if a big charge is made.

  • I check every year. For those who say they don't have cards anymore that is great! I don't either but you still need to check because you never know when someone has used your info without checking! Protect your identity!
