  • Yes things have changed every year I go to alot of my SO's family dinners because my family only stays home so I get to see alot his family and it's cool cause the food is great but it would be nice if my family had a dinner he could come too.

  • We always have a big Thanksgiving dinner with family, usually hosted by us, (but not this year!!!, his brother is taking over!!!!) Then for Christmas, we have Christmas Eve with family, travel to different places, exchange gifts and have dinner sometimes. Christmas Day is reserved for us. We decided that before having our daughter even. We want CHristmas Day to be "our" family. Occasionally we make exceptions when some family member or friend needs a place to be, but usually just us.

  • My side doesn't do Thanksgiving, so we go to his sides family get together and sometimes his mothers also. For Christmas we go to both families on different days.
