  • Absolutely! My mother's Tupperware has lasted 35-40 years. It was a large initial investment, but they last forever.

  • I use glass containers with glass chemicals leaching into the food

  • Cheapo versions dont last, they warp in the dishwasher, lids leak, etc. The tupperwear I have has lasted perfectly! I have the kids sandwich containers, and snack containers and they look brand new, and they dont loose them, so for me they have definatly been worth it.

  • I'm not against using generic brand tupperware if that's what you mean but plastic food storage containers do come in handy and we do use them often.

  • Yes and No. If you're like me and you'll loose it or end up giving it away, then no, buy Ziploc. But if you are the type that hangs on to things forever, Yes, because it will not only last your lifetime but your kids'.

  • Yes, you can even buy used items at a garage sale, and they will honor the lifetime warranty on them.

  • You know not if you are trying to support a Mom make some extra income for her family...then I feel it is a good cause..otherwise Walmart has some great package deals. Plastic lasts forever.

  • recycling sweetpeaExcellent information everyone, as I would be purchasing from an individual who would benefit from my order.  I would still however purchase the Ziplock and RubberMaid items to send home with company.  And I am the sort who holds on to and uses things for a long time!! :-)
