How old was your child when you started to potty train?

  • #1 - started at 20 months, but wasn't fully trained until after 3 1/2

    #2 - trained herself at 2 1/2

    #3 - started training at 34 months, and was fully trained by 36 months

  • went at her pace. She started at 18 months and was 90% on her own with out me pushing it by the time she was almost 3. I finished it off in 2-3 days at that point.

  • I am starting my 3rd now he is 21/2
    the others were abouot the same

  • 3.5 years I started and finished. Neither kid ever had an accident. We purposely waited because we didn't want the frustration. Does seem like a long time to wait though!

  • 2, but he fought it until just a little while ago. He is almost 3 now. One day, he just decided he was going to start going potty in the toilet and hasn't really had any accidents since.

  • DD was about 2, but we had some false starts. She was 100% trained by 3.
