Group B Strep

When pregnant with my son, I was told that I carry this. Will I be able to be a surrogate mom?

  • yes, I don't see why not. it's a normal flora in many women. You just have to get antibiotics during your labor and all is fine. Also if you had it with your son that doesn't mean you'll have it with the next pregnancy. I had it with my 1st son, but didn't have it with my 2nd son.

  • Of course. You would obvi have to tell the parents of the child... but there is not problem with this as long as you are given antibiotics in your IV
