It's Chinese New Year, so what's for dinner?

I'm making a family favorite, pork fried rice.

  • Happy Chinese New Year! We're having takeout to celebrate! (Although we had no idea until I read this!) lol

  • I wish I knew that. I would have planned to have CHinese food. That sounds good.

  • Actually, I was thinking Chinese take out - I forgot today started Chinese New Year (but it's two weeks long, so there's time if we don't have Chinese tonight).

  • ...Leftover pizza. So sick of that, but my roommate won't be here and I don't cook for one!
My ex and I used to go to his friend's parents' restaurant for dinner - was the best Chinese place in town before they had to close! Oh my GOD it was good. They'd make things they didn't normally sell at the restaurant - all kind of delicious egg rolls and things, and the best duck I have EVER had. Damn I miss that place.
