  • Los Angeles comes to mind first.... Crime, over crowded, horrible freeways, smog and (most) of the people.

  • Sorry- no offense to any Cali people, but you can keep the mudslides, smog, wild fires & earth quakes. I'll take the occasional snow storm or threat of tornadic activity in the summer over that mess any time.

  • North Chicago. Bad schools, neighborhood, etc. Second would be Gary, IN. I grew up around there and it's just not a place of growth. I don't see Gary ever being a prosperous city.

  • DFW -- I LOVE Texas, but hate that area -- crime/TRAFFIC/gangs/drugs (but hey, that stuff is almost everywhere)!

Bronx -- I love visiting but would never want to stay -- same reasons as listed above!

  • Do I have to narrow to one? I would not want to live in New York City, Philadelphia, Los Angelos, San Francisco, Miami, etc.... Dirty, over populated, Crime, houses on top of each other.. Commute... Not a fan of inner city school systems..

I enjoy at least an acre of land, decent size house, decent distance from neighbors, and at least 45 miles from the nearest 'large city"..... I would rather choose to visit a large city on my terms, and not live there....

Same for me but I enjoy several acres. Could not pay me to live in any city, but I would say a toss up between Detroit and LA.
