stages? can someone clarify for me stages of childhood?

what age is newborn, baby,infant,toddler,preschooler, and kid ? anything else i might of missed?

  • I think that newborn is from birth to 3 months. Pre-school is, of course, the preschool ages, 3-5 years old. Toddlers can range, depending on who you get the information from. I have heard them referred to as toddlers from 18 months to 3 years. Baby and infant are both used, I believe from 3 months to 18 months. Now, those are not necessarily the "medical definitions" but those are the ages that my son's doctor has used.
