  • I have some color coded flexible ones for raw meat. All the others are for vegetables, cheese, bread, etc.

  • Nope, but I never use one without running it through the dishwasher to sanitize it. I have about 8, so I always have a clean one.

  • Nope, we're vegetarians. I keep one extra cutting board for when people come to visit and might want to cook meat. Fruits and veggies do not need separate boards.

  • No I only have one. It is run through the dishwasher. No fish or poultry is ever cut on it, if they were maybe I would think about it but I am ok with just the one.

  • No, I have only one large glass one that I use for everything. It would annoy me to have to rotate them and find space for four of them. Since it is glass, it certainly bleaches well, and that is how I clean it. I usually use a large plate to cut meat any way. We haven't been killed yet from using one cutting board, and it is one of those things where I think people tend to go overboard with worry these days.

  • Yes, but I have separate boards for poultry (yellow) & beef (red) and use the same board for fruits & veggies (green). The board I use for fish is blue and the one I use for bread is orange.
