Anyone ever consider teaching their kids manners anymore? Please? Thank you?

Is it just me or are kids just so rude and selfish these days?

  • I do and I was actually laughing the other day when we were out and the waitress took 2 yr old DD's plate and she said "thank you" she did a double take and DD kept saying" Thank you" until the waitress said" your welcome"

I think its funny when people say you should be proud of how polite your kids are.... Not really it should be expected!

  • My son for 3, has better manners than most adults I see.. sometimes I wonder why I bother teaching him to wait his turn, say excuse me or please and thank you because while we are out playing and other kids are around.. it seems no other parents have taught this to their children so my son gets the brunt end of that... and the parents sit by talking on the phone or texting as if its FREE time for them - not fun family time to play.. I could go on for an hour with examples but I think most of us know and get it..

  • Manners are very important...my kids learned manners as soon as they started talking and I am always told how polite my children are. I can't believe how many parents think that manners are not important!!
