  • What Is A Troll?

The term derives from "trolling", a style of fishing which involves trailing bait through a likely spot hoping for a bite. The troll posts a message, often in response to an honest question, that is intended to upset, disrupt or simply insult the group. Usually, it will fail, as the troll rarely bothers to match the tone or style of the group, and usually its ignorance shows.

Around here it's everything from teenagers to people who make second and third accounts just to argue with themselves or harass people without letting anyone know what their normal user name is.

  • sometimes the question seems to be real
sometimes the question is obvisously a fake one
sometimes a 'spin' on another question (like tongue in cheek making fun of another question)=the soccer ball and the teeth surgery
some seem very real, and get moms reaching out to help, then you read some other questions by same questioner and you can tell that it is made up=i hate those
the joking ones, i do not care much, some are funny
but the ones that get everyone reaching out to help and it is a fake one- that is what i do not like

  • Trolls like making posts, asking questions, and giving responses that are purposely meant to mis-lead or cause arguments

  • that's ridiculous! who has the time to waste on that kind of crap? lol. i barely have time to respond to questions that are real and matter (i shouldnt really be on here i have work to do!). i cant imagine going through the trouble of setting up multiple accounts just to piss people off.
