Natural stool softeners? adult content

Do you know of any natural ways to relieve constipation? I'm trying water with stomach massages but it's so bad I don't want to swallow anything or move.

  • Black licorice! They told me to get a bunch of it after I had my c-section, and it worked wonders.

  • for you? prune juice. for a baby or young child? I mix an oz or 2 of prune juice with a few oz of water.

  • smooth move tea. i always preach about these organic teas. they have one for everything. i had to use this tea once when i was pregnant and it worked great

  • I'd be careful with the smooth move tea; I found it very hard on my system - quite painful.

  • you might have a sensitive digestive system anon. though honestly i've found that the absolute best relief for constipation is a 2 dollar enema from wall greens. you poop in 2 minutes, no cramping, no pain, just quick relief.

  • Eat a pear and have a cup of hot tea every morning. Take plenty of exercise. Avoid coffee. Avoid alcohol. Some foods draw the water out of the body, and also you-know-what, which increases constipation. You obviously need plenty of raw vegetables in your diet. If you can not stand them raw, then eat lots raw fruit.
