so where were you?

The day of the space Shuttle challenger tragedy-

where were you?

I was in school and had just stepped into my civics class. My teacher had the radio turned on and I wondered why.
Then they announced that the explosion had occurred.

(Technology was the closest topic I could get- it's not a debate and no topic of anything close to current events or news. )

  • I was in 3rd grade. I thought it was a conspiracy to cover up that we didn't really go to the moon in the 60s. Yeah I was a handful at that age.
