Does your dh/so like Val Day?

Does he enjoy buying you something on Val Day or do it because he thinks you'll be mad if he doesn't?

  • He loves shopping. Any holiday he can spend money and make me happy is okay in his book.

  • We don't really exchange gifts. We go out for dinner. I would hate for him to feel obligated to get me something.

  • He could not care less about Valentine's Day but he knows I like chocolate so he gets me a box. No one ever gave me chocolates on Valentine's Day before him so it's special to me that he does it. If we can eat out we do so that's an extra special bonus because we almost never get to do that anymore.

  • My DH is guilty of saying "Would you rather it was forced by a holiday or from my heart on any day?"

  • We don't to Valentines day much, some years he will get me nice chocolate from this local place, but since we had kids, we just eat pizza at home

  • Can anyone spell out words anymore? I'm sorry, but it's a pet peeve of mine when people abbriviate Holidays and other such things.

To answer your question though. My husband could care less about Valentine's day. Infact I could care less about Valentine's day. We celebrate the days that mean something to us. Like our Anniversary or one another's birthdays, but not a Holiday that's a Holiday just because.
