  • Definitely not. I am a sahm and I CHOSE to be one :-). One of the happiest days of my life was when I told my former employer I was resigning to beat home with my kids.

  • I spent 12 years in the navy and my one regret was that I did not go to a c school and get more advanced training that I can carry with me in the civilian world. As it stands, if I wasn't a contractor working in a BEQ, the most I could be is a CNA or a MA. I know a lot more than that.

  • Yep, dropped out of college to pursue a job that had no room for advancement and made me very little money. I was pushed into it by a family member who thought it would help us bond. 10 years later, I decided I hated the person I turned into and was tired of just barely scraping by. So, I quit and enrolled in school to finish what I had originally started. Hubby has even volunteered to work extra until I'm done. Woo hoo!
