Cramping and leaking clear discharge..39 weeks.. adult content

Is this normal? I think I'm having some Braxton Hicks contractions too. Mostly just mild cramping and leaking a little.

  • Last night I had some fluid leak out (enough to change my underwear) and tonight about the same amount came out.

  • Go into labor and delivery then, i def would.

I had the same thing happen to me also. I was about 38 weeks and leaked a lot. on and off throughout the day. My dr told me to go to labor and delivery. They do a thing where they look at the fluid on a slide, if it crystalized it was my water breaking. But it ended up being urine. yea i was embarassed and pissed thinking no way did i just leak urine many times throughout the day. but i definitely did.

Anyway, if you think it could be your water then id go in to check.

  • It sounds like the start of labor to me. at 39 weeks there's no way they are BH contractions.

  • I would go get looked at just to be safe, I agree you are too far along to just pass it off as BH.

  • I thought I was peeing myself with my first. I put pads on to soak up the urine, but it never smelt like urine. I called my doc they told me to call L&D. They told me to come in. The tested the fluils and found out it was amneotic. I torn high and fluid was slowly leaking out. Go get checked right away. The amneotic fluid is the ONLY protection the baby has.
