What is the indirect motive of a Drama Llama?

In real life or online, other than just to stir the pot and sit back and watch, what is the motivation? What does a Drama Llama get out of the drama they create?

  • Sadly some people thrive on drama, and I don't think they honestly realize they are doing it because they get the pay off of attention... so to answer the question, all things good or bad have a reward and they get a "pay off" each time they create drama otherwise they wouldn't continually do it... whether the "pay off" is attention, other falling overthemselves to give sympathy, or even like the first response states... they like to sit back and watch.

They would fall all over themselves if you took away the "pay off" they recieve, even if it is like some here on CM where they get you doing the back and forth to show you cared enough to respond to the ignorance? Sad but true... otherwise they would do an anon post to stir things up, or find ways to bash others so they feel better about themselves???

  • I think some of them were raised with drama in their lives and they don't know any other way to get attention.

  • I agree with 5babybees; attention. They also like to feel important. Often times, they are bored with their own lives, or don't like themselves very much - so making other people have problems is great fun for them.
