  • What is she into? I bought mine an iPod a couple years ago. Get her a CD player and cds of her favorite music. Clothes, jewelry, hair stuff, like a curling iron or a flat-iron, blow dryer, cool belt and belt-buckle, mine has horses so I bought hats and boots one year, hmmm, the list goes on and on.

  • Neutrogena everything. Beauty supplies are a must for a girl this age. If she doesn't already wear some makeup, maybe a compact (neutrogena), clear mascara, and light lipgloss. Buy her some hair supplies too. Some light cologne for young girls would work well too.

Mostly beauty supplies, but some art supplies too will be a big hit for the holidays.

  • A gift card from her favorite stores. Then you can take her to go shopping, You can have some one on one time with her, plus you'll find out what she likes.

  • A bank account or some money in her already existing savings account. Suze Orman would agree.

  • It was about that age I stopped buying a bunch of stuff. Now I get her one thing that is kind of spendy, acouple of outfits and maybe some pj's. Then I give her gift cards, thats what she wants so she can pick out what she wants. Hot Topic, Wet Seal, Movie money, Coffee Shop card, money to put music on her MP3 player. Then sometimes her dad picks something out himself. Thats about it. Oh and McDonalds!!! Susan 262

  • All (right!) my 14 year old daughter wants for Christmas is a $2000 Stuebben english saddle - unfortunately as a single mom, it's out of the question. She'll be at her dad's the week before Christmas, so I'm not looking forward to Christmas this year at all.
