did anyone file their taxes at h&r block?

so i filed yesterday little did i know i had to wait 8 to 15 days i was like wtf??!! they obviously didnt have the rapid refund thing this year! i want to know how long will this really take and i asked for it to be deposited into the emerald card. Did anyone get their funds faster than 8-15 days?? fyi i have been filing every year same job same wages no changes

  • I did mine online, got state back within a week but federal was delayed.

  • only certain places do th erapid release loan thing now h&r got in alot of trouble so they dont do it anymore and now u can only get up to $1500 and the rest will be there in 8-15 days

  • Nope. We tried to online, but there site seemed to be down. So we just went some where else.

    The rapid refund hasn't exactly been done away with, but it has been revamped. And djsmommy is right H&R block has been taking a lot of heat for giving out RALs. It's basically a scam for poor people.

    Anyway the reason RALs aren't as popular anymore is because the Government will no longer say whether someone has garnished your tax refund or if you owe back taxes. Without that information it makes it risky to give RALs to people who possibly won't be getting a refund.

  • Years ago but never again!!!!!!! My social# was not correct and I had to pay for the MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
