I always wonder why it takes so long for people to get up to speed when the light turns green. It seems to take a quarter of a mile for most people to get up to speed. Then when they finally speed up they go way past the posted speed.

I am not a speed demon. But when the light turns green, I like to go. Not take off at a snails pace?

Am I the only one like this?

  • I am with you... slow poke accelerators irritate me too. I rarely speed, but I like getting where I am going.

  • Quick acceleration increases gas consumption considerably.

  • well i am a speed demon with a leadfoot. when its time to go, im gone. i hate when people take freakin forever to go, people who take 3 years to make a simple right turn and people who drive more than 5mph under the speed limit. i try not to drive too much because i have a hard time controlling myself when i cross paths with a stupid driver. they are everywhere.

  • That doesn't really annoy me as much as people who will slow down every time they get close to a traffic light, even if it's green so that by the time they get there, it's turning red.

  • Well, at the moment my vehicle is misfiring, so won't take off. I'll b so glad when I get it fixed and can let the V6 run! I hate it when people dilly-dally around with their cars.
