been having contractions every ten minutes since lastnight...

they are getting a little stronger but not closer together...anyone have any ideas on how to get them closer together, 38 weeks today!

  • You can't get them to come closer together. Your body will do what it will do. Good luck with the delivery.

  • No and it's not about how far apart they are it's about how long each one lasts. Just keep your doctor informed.

  • Marwill is right. Once the contractions start, your body has to do the rest naturally. Once they are 3-5 minutes apart for at least 1 hour straight, then you can go to the hospital, but for now, its best to just wait it out at home!

  • GO FOR A WALK WITH SOMEONE (NEVER ALONE AT THIS POINT) YOU ARE PROBABLY BETWEEN 1 AND 2 CM. THATS HOW IT WAS FOR ME TO. I TOOK A WALK FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND 3 HOURS LATER WENT INTO ACTIVE LABOR.
