Is there a way i can...

Get my son to keep his clothing on. He normally only does it at naptime or bed time and then he yells im cold but freaks out if we hand him his blanket and throws it back on the floor. Any help or advice on what to try would be great.

  • I heard an idea that you can try on the radio lol...the guy said his toddler did the same thing and he took a sleeper outfit, cut the feet out of the bottoms and put the sleeper on backwards. The kid cant reach the zipper to take it off and kept him clothed. the radio guy said it worked like a charm and after a couple weeks of going to bed and naps like that soon he stopped taking off his clothes and was able to wear clothes the normal way again and didnt take them off. Its just an idea but i thought it was pretty brilliant!

  • I've heard of the backwards PJs, too. Alternately, so long as he keeps his diaper or underpants on, you could let him be mostly naked. If your home is like mine, this will require the use of a spaceheater in a place your son cannot reach (ours is behind a long dresser in a corner).
