I am planning on starting college this fall but I don't know what kind of financial aid there is out there so I was wondering if anyone knew any good financial aid for single moms and if so which ones?

Go to that website and fill out ur FASFA. Your school should have a code so the Financial Aid can be directed there. Have you talked to a Financial Counselar at your school? They should be able to help you.

  • Fill out your FAFSA after you do your taxes and have it sent to the school you're applying to. Also check for scholarships offered and it wouldn't hurt to actually go to the college and talk to the people in Financial Aid about it.

  • I'm sure you can get a pell grant. Have you filled out the FAFSA? If you haven't you can fill it out online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You should probably visit the financial aid office at the college you plan to attend, they would be more equipped to help you with this. They will have all the info you need for scholarships/grants/student loans. GL

  • First, go to the financial aid office at the school to see what their resources are. Then fill out the FAFSA to see what you are eligible to recieve in Pell Grants, Loans and a few other grants. Then check out www.fastweb.com and www.scholarships.com

Seeing you are a single parent, it does NOT matter what your age is, you won't have much trouble getting financial aid because you have a dependent of your own. Been there done that and it was very easy.
