  • If you are an atheist, you do not believe in God. If you are anti (or against) atheism, then you believe in God. It depends on your beliefs.

  • Well, an atheist is someone who doesn't believe in God, so wouldn't an anti-athiest be someone who believes in God?

  • i thought anti-theist meant you beileve partly in God and atheist not at all. The world and all humans,creatures,landscapes had to be created somehow; is it evolution,science etc?

  • Anti-atheists not only believe in God, they tend to openly denounce and discriminate against atheists.

  • Did you mean an Anti-theist and an atheist? Because an anti-atheist and an atheist are completely different things. An Atheist is merely someone who does not believe in any god. An Anti-theist is someone who is outspoken against any organized religion that believes in a deity(some tend to focus on Christianity as that is what they are often presented with most).

  • Quite frankly though I think anti-theist is rather a bit of an oxymoron due to the sheer amount of hatred for organized religion or deities and I don't see how someone can hate something that doesn't exist.

  • An agnostic person believes in a higher power but not in any specific religion or God, if that is what you are thinking of?

  • Simple breakdown of the words

    Atheist=No gods

    Anti-theist= Against gods

    Anti Atheist= Against Atheists

    I'm sorry but that is not what agnostic means. Agnostic means without knowledge. Agnostics can believe in god/s or not believe in god/s, but they aknowledge that proof of god is ultimately unknowable.
