  • I've always heard red wine for red meats and white wine for white meats.

  • Cabernet and Merlot will bring out the flavors of the wine/meat nicely, as they are heavier wines.
    Pinot Noir, Syrah, or Shiraz if you prefer a lighter wine, will still work. :)
