  • my dd will be 5 months on friday and is getting really close. how old is your son. she has a Bumbo chair (babys r us has them) and its helping alot. i would expect around 6 months they should be doing it. but check with your doc if your baby is older than 6 months and not sitting on his own! good luck =)

  • every baby is different. but most learn by 6 months. mine is 5 months now and she pulls herself to stand better than she does trying to sit up or crawl. i thought that was odd. O__o.

  • My daughter is 8 months and she just started about 1 1/2 months ago so do not worry. She is standing now but can not crawl...just like me when I was a baby, did everythign backwards

  • My 6 month old is sitting up on her own but only for about 15-30 seconds. I wouldnt be concerned. Babies are all different, and think about it this way, they all get there eventually.

  • My son is 5 months and is doing the fold in half sitting! LOL

He almost has it down though, but he still refuses to roll over, no matter how much i work with him.
