I have a 9 month old and think I'm pregnant? using condoms. can it happen?

  • It very well could happen, condoms are only so effective, you know? What's making you think you are, though?

  • With perfect use, the failure rate for condoms is about 2%. That means that out of 100 women who use them perfectly, 2 will get pregnant in a year.
    With typical use, the failure rate is 10 to 18%. Meaning that out of 100 women, 10 to 18 of them will get pregnant in a year. Failures can be from breaks, putting it on too late, putting it on incorrectly, and many other things.
    Also, remember that you are at your most fertile in the months after giving birth.
    So yes, it's possible.

  • not stress. I was on the birth control pill and using condoms and i got pregnant with my second child. My first was only 6 months. It will be ok. But there are always a way this could happen.

  • yes it is VERY possible ... i have an eight month old son and i am pregnant (11 weeks) with baby number two..
