Friday I watched a 20/20 Barbara Walters special on this married man born a woman (married to a woman) who had a beautiful baby girl and is now expecting a second child. I understand that as a child shel always felt as a he, as an adult had his breast removed took sterriods, grew facial hair etc but never had his reproductive parts removed. I am confused if you want to be a man fine but men do not have babies right?? Don't get me wrong to each their own I just believe you can not be both a man and birth a baby as a woman.

  • Yeah, I don't really think of her as a man, just a very ugly woman. I feel bad for those poor kids, they're going to be so confused!

  • I've seen this situation advertised on Discovery Health as a "man having a baby". It's so deceiving because he is a she who has been taking hormone treatments to become a man and has had a mastectomy.

when a male who is born with all their male parts has a baby, let me know.

i'm a very open minded person but i wouldn't want to be their kid.

  • If he/she has a uterus, those are female parts. If he was birthing out of a penis and testes, now THAT would be news.

So legally he is a man... ok, but he still has a uterus, ovaries, and vagina AND required sperm to make a baby.

  • yeah i think its disgusting and those poor kids ae goin 2 be so screwed up life is already hard and their makin it harder on their kids, but i agree if he has women parts he is really a woman

  • It doesn't bother me. I actually think its all pretty interesting. He was a beauty queen in Hawaii before going through the change. He carried the baby because his wife is unable and they wanted another child. I don't think their children will be screwed up. Same sex relationship kids are shown to be less "disturbed" then kids that had heterosexual parents get a divorce.
