Guacamole Help!

There are so many different varieties. What do you put in yours? Onions, tomato, lime or lemon juice, etc.

  • 4 avocado's 1 small Roma tomato, 1/2 small purple onion, 1 clove garlic, a good bit of fresh cilantro and at least 2 juices limes. I leave mine chunky.

  • All of the above. Be sure to put the pit or seed in the bowl until you are ready to serve. This will help keep it from turning brown.

  • Alton Brown has the BEST guacamole recipe - roma tomato, garlic, kosher salt, lime juice. Fantastic!

  • I make it the lazy way: mix with a good salsa (target organic cilantro) and a bit of plain greek yogurt

  • I like simple, I mash, then either add enough salsa to slightly moisten, or just squeeze lemon on it and salt and pepper
