  • What my mom did with her dog was, she put him in a crate while he was in the house and only let him out to go potty. You do this for two weeks and when you finally let him out in the house he'll know that he can only go outside. IT sounds cruel and you might suffer hearing loss from the puppy's whining and howling, but it works. And you can always take him for a walk if he seems to be getting wrestless.

  • !. Patience
    2. Take dog outside after eating and stay until dog potties
    3. If dog does not potty, put in dog crate or kneel and try again
    4. Keep lots of carpet cleaner on hand accidents will happen
    5. Patience6
    7. Reward puppy with a puppy treat for pottying in right place.

(I found that putting dog crap in same area of yard trains puppies to go in that area. Once pupppy has accident in the house the puppy will keep going to the same place to potty)

  • Read up on the breed of the dog. Knowing about the dog will help you understand how to train them the best. Every breed is different, so it's important to read up and know exactly what you're dealing with. If you don't know the breed then that's understandable, but try to read up on what you think he might be. My tips are .... Take him out every hour and let him run around the yard. Even if he's leashed. If you don't have a yard then take him on a walk. Sometimes puppies get distracted and forget to go when they're outside, which leads to more accidents in the house. Praise him like he just did the greatest thing everytime he uses the bathroom outside. When he does have an accident grab him by the collar, shove his nose TO his mess (not in, just to it) and firmly say "NO!" Then take him outside immediately after. Let him run around a bit. If he goes again while outside then praise him.

  • There are some good sights to go to, one is
Remember Here's what it's NOT about:

    1. Yelling At your puppy
    2. Hitting or Kicking your
    3. Punishing your dog in any way
    4. Rubbing its nose on the poop

    Here's what it IS about:

    1. Making your actually WANT to eliminate
    where he should!
    2. Using the natural instincts ALL s have,
to quickly and easily get the puppy potty trained
    and fully housebroken.
