  • angel miniabout 8 years ago, my mom's church wanted to expand and buy another building that was for sale, the price was 1 million and change so the pastor would always announce that the church members should give more tithes and offering "for the lord" so they could save up and buy the bigger building. A lot of church members put a lot of extra money in the offering plate for years. one day the pastor announced that they lost the building to another bidder.... ok....they are still in the same old run down church today, there has been no renovations, no new furniture, nothing......so where is all that money the pastor collected for years? he still cannot answer. just thought i would share.
