  • Ditto to RiyahsMommy08 I educated myself all things children when I had my son at 18. That includes child development, and different discipline techniques, most ppl don't take the time but when want to do something well that's what I do.

  • Absolutely not! I had my son at 17 and I am an awesome mom! I made some mistakes but who doesn't! I am a better mom than a lot of the 30-40 YO women I know. Just be sure to read, read and read some more. Make educated choices for your children. Don't do things just because "that is what people do" or because someone told you to do it. Do what is best for your child, even when it goes against the grain.

  • NO WAY! I was 19 when I had my ds, now that he is 15 years old- OMG I am an older mom now!lol- anyway I think it is good that I had him so young, I can still remember all the "teen tricks" well! Also I used to work in daycare, and some of the teen moms I worked with were way better parents than some college professor parents.
